My wife and I had dinner tonight @ Cafe on Shore (where Brunch House was, across from Krogers.) They have different menu items and prices are reasonable, especially for breakfast items. It was awesome !! Spread the word for this new eating place. Tonight was their first night.

This young man has worked in 10 different restaurants starting as a dishwasher and rising to the ranks of owner of his first restaurant. He is local from our area and has great ideas. I met him for the first time tonight and I was impressed. Believe me I'm very critical! He's a Cox Grad. Let us locals give him your strong support!
I'm looking forward to checking this place out!
I'm excited--since it's your turn to pay!!!

Hello Chic's Beach and Happy New Year. Here is an update from the City of Virginia Beach regarding our beach. ...
I have not heard of this but I will check into it.
This is all great news. I’m so glade the city saved our beach. Hopefully someday they can save our lake. The constant dumping of leaves over the years have really shallowed the lake to a point on being only a few feet deep in some places. This is a danger to anyone using the lake. Also in years to come we’re going to have a mud pit. I’m happy to help in anyway. Please help save our lake and don’t dump trash and yard debris in the lake.
Don't agree with the Christmas trees as I would rather have decomposed trees that help to feed the dune grass than rusty portions of sand fence wire in a few years. But hey since when can you trust the government to do the right thing in all instances.
Any idea whether there will be a wooden walkway from the Buoy entrance towards the bay?
